Visit Desenzano del Garda
Welcome to the most lively village not only of Lake Garda, but of the entire region. It is the most populous area of the province of Brescia (28,000 residents) and at the same time it is elegant, sophisticated and extremely fashionable.
Desenzano is not only a tourist destination, it is an active city for all seasons, favourite destination for winter weekends, for walks among boutiques and traditional or sophisticated restaurants, which are open all the year round. There is an endless number of reasons why you should visit Desenzano del Garda.
The inland road that runs parallel to the shore offers more than a kilometre of shop windows that alternate with ice cream shops, cafés and pubs for aperitifs and breaks during the day and music at night.
Desenzano’s location, in the biggest gulf of the lower lake, offers tourists well-kept beaches with all facilities: cafes, kiosks open until late (in summer), restaurants, pedaloes, boats, sunbeds, umbrellas, cabins, showers and PWCs.
Our guests are offered a wonderful trip to the peninsula of Sirmione and Mount Baldo, snow-capped for a large part of the year.
Desenzano’s strengths are its night pubs, but sport lovers can also find sport centres, tennis courts, riding grounds, surf and sailing schools, water skiing football and athletics.
There is another reason why you should plan a visit to Desenzano del Garda: its port. It is available for all tourists with a boat and it is possible to rent one. It is flanked by a nice walk on the lake with a wonderful and ample view, which is in no way inferior to that of the seaside.
Besides, Desenzano’s main square is provided with a stop of the ferry that connects the centre with other villages of the Lake, carrying hundreds of tourists during the summer season.
